The GLD 2012 electrion results are in:
Eva Stabenow has been elected Administrator.
Michael Engley has been elected Assistant Administrator.
Both will begin their terms at the GLD Annual Meeting in San Diego at the end of this month.
The election of GLD officers is held every two years in accordance with the ATA Governing Policy for Divisions.
Earlier this year the GLD Nominating Committee announced the 2012 GLD candidates in the slate broadcast to the GLD membership.
GLD members were given 45 days after the slate broadcast to object to the slate or add candidates to the slate. There were no objections and no further candidates were received.
Their term will begin at the GLD Annual Meeting, scheduled to be held on Friday, October 26, 10:00am-11:00am during ATAs 53rd Annual Conference (October 24-27, 2012) at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
