Winter 2015 issue of interaktiv now available!

Dear GLD Members,

The Winter 2015 edition of interaktiv is now available for download from the GLD website. Click here to download your own personal copy. (Find past issues here.)

How many of us dream of taking full advantage of our freelancer freedom, trotting around the globe while keeping our clients happy along the way? I know I do – and I’ve even dipped my feet in the water, spending six weeks stateside this past summer while continuing to serve a number of clients. In this Winter 2015 issue of interaktiv, two well-known GLDers show us that it can be done, taking us on a trip to the Greek island of Kythera and the British capital of London. I have one word for you: Fernweh!

Don’t miss the inaugural “Word from” our new Administrator, Michael Engley, the GLD list report by our eternally entertaining list master, Gerhard Preisser, a first- and second-timer account of ATA’s 55th Annual Conference in Chicago this past November, two – count ‘em – two translator profiles and much more.
