Japanese<>English Certification Workshop

The Japanese<>English Certification Workshop (Session J-6) will be held 2:30-3:30 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2011 at the ATA Conference in Boston, MA.
The J>E and E>J workshops will be held at the same time. It is only possible to participate in one workshop.
In each group, current certification exam graders will discuss the grading process, using a sample exam passage. The passage will be available before the workshop, and it is highly recommended that the attendees translate the passage in advance, in order to get maximum benefit from the workshop. We will analyze potential errors and error-marking, using ATA grading standards and sample translations. The graders will also answer questions regarding the certification exam.
