Procedures for Resolutions to be Presented at the Annual Meeting of All Members

1. Article X of the Bylaws of the American Translators Association, Inc., charges the Board of Directors to adopt procedures for matters presented at the Annual Meeting of All Members.

2. Only resolutions of a congratulatory nature may be presented to the membership at the Annual Meeting of All Members. Such resolutions may be approved by the voting members present by acclamation and without debate.

3. Substantive resolutions may not be presented at the Annual Meeting of All Members. These may be submitted for consideration at the Annual Meeting of Voting Members in accordance with the applicable procedure.
