- Sessions at the Annual Conference – 8-9 sessions slated for presentations on literary translation.
- Newsletter –Michele Aynesworth continues to be editor of Source which is now an online edition. There are three published and on the LD website. Michele has a two-year term 2007-2009, so the new administrator will need to put out a request for applications. Past editors may apply for the position, which includes a small stipend upon completion of each edition. Submission guidelines are on the website.
- LD annual journal of literary translation, Beacons X, is online and hard copies can still be purchased directly through ATA. This past year there were three applications to be guest editor of Beacons XI, but unfortunately none of the candidates qualified to take on this task. This will be a priority for the new LD Administrator.
- Myriam Young continues as the volunteer LD Webmaster. If you want anything posted, especially in the category of publications or conferences, please send them directly to Myriam through the LD website.
