Our publications

As the journal of the ATA’s Literary Division, Source is both a forum for the discussion of literary translation and a vehicle for Literary Division members and guest contributors to publish their work. Novice translators, as well as those with more experience, are encouraged to submit translations of poetry and prose, together with their meditations on the process. We welcome contributions from all languages and cultures. Submissions to Source are open year round and may be sent via email (michele@mckayaynesworth.com) to the Editor, Michele Aynesworth.

Beacons was an annual peer-reviewed journal of literature in translation published by the Literary Division between 1992 and 2007. Each issue was an anthology of translated literary texts curated by an editorial board formed by well-known and published literary translators and a guest editor for each year. In 2007 Beacons went into a dual format with an online edition and a print-on-demand version of similar quality and format to previous hardcopy editions of Beacons.
