Will we be replaced by AI? This is a question that interpreters are frequently faced with. In this month&#8217;s CLD Cafe, the presenter shares practical tips on how interpreters can use AI to our advantage. She discusses how to position ourselves in the market and provide clients with high-quality language and culture services that differentiate our practice from others in this AI era.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Presenters&#8217; Bio:<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Miao Hong (Maggie) is a freelance conference interpreter and translator. Her clients include international organizations, government departments and agencies, institutions, and corporations. Ms. Hong is a\u00a0federal court professionally qualified Mandarin interpreter,\u00a0state court certified Mandarin interpreter,\u00a0and\u00a0National Board certified Mandarin medical interpreter. She is a frequent presenter at interpretation and translation conferences. As an advocate of the profession, she is an active participant in professional associations and had served in the roles of vice-chair, board director, and leadership council member for several national and local associations of interpreters and translators.
