Prospective students interested in this class may contact the school at 212-998-7200 or sps.info@nyu.edu for information about enrollment for the next term (Spring 2017).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eve Bodeux<\/strong>\u00a0published a new book called <em>Maintaining Your Second Language<\/em> for translators and interpreters and other language lovers who need ideas on how to stay fluent in their\u00a0first or second language for professional\u00a0or personal reasons.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bryna O\u2019Sullivan<\/strong> presented a successful poster session on genealogical translation to the Association of Professional Genealogists 2016 Professional Management Conference.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bruce Popp<\/strong>\u00a0took the\u00a0written and oral exams in June 2016 for the\u00a0<em>Dipl\u00f4me approfondi de langue fran\u00e7aise<\/em>. After passing,\u00a0he\u00a0received the <em>Dipl\u00f4me approfondi de langue fran\u00e7aise \u2013 niveau C2<\/em> from the French <em>Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00e9ducation nationale<\/em> in September 2016.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kathleen Stein-Smith<\/strong>\u2019s book, <em>The U.S. Foreign Language Deficit: Strategies for Maintaining a Competitive Edge in a Globalized World<\/em> (Palgrave Macmillan), is now available. In addition, she was\u00a0invited to join the CSCTFL (Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) Advisory Council.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Karen Tkaczyk <\/strong>was admitted in\u00a0August 2016 as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iti.org.uk\">Fellow of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting<\/a>.
