Professor Wilhelm “Bill” Weber from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey<\/a>\u00a0will be ATA57<\/a>‘s closing keynote speaker!<\/p>\n

Mr. Weber’s\u00a0profile is available on the MIIS website:

His (very impressive) experience includes a Master\u2019s in conference interpreting from the University of Geneva. Active conference interpreter since 1963, Mr. Weber was the Dean of Monterey\u2019s Translation & Interpretation Graduate School from 1978-1992 and has been the Chief Interpreter for 13 Olympic Games since 1984. He has also worked as Chief Interpreter for events such as the G-7 and G-8 summits and FIFA\u2019s World Cup. He will serve as Chief Interpreter for the Rio Olympic games right before heading to ATA 57th Annual Conference.<\/p>\n
