A bright shining star has left us. Esther was an indefatigable advocate for interpreters and their profession. She was also an amazing trainer. We eagerly followed her endeavors through her Twitter handle @MmeInterpreter<\/a>. \u00a0She cared for the downtrodden by organizing volunteer interpreter services for the now too often crises such as unaccompanied minors at the border, the Muslim ban, earthquake victims, trauma victims, etc. In addition, she spearheaded the training of interpreters for Amerindian languages. Esther, you will be missed by so many\u2026<\/p>\n
