Boston University Translation Seminar:<\/a> Includes a lecture series open to the public and videos of past lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Authors Guild<\/a>: Advocates for the rights of writers by supporting free speech, fair contracts, and copyright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEN America<\/a>: Offers a translation model contract and the yearly PEN\/Heim translation grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators<\/a> (SCBWI) welcomes translators of children’s literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Association of Writers & Writing Programs<\/a> (AWP) hosts a huge annual conference with translation panels organized by ALTA and a book fair attended by many publishers of translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
