Dear ATA Law Division members,<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on our last survey, many ATA Law Division members expressed the need to work on their marketing strategies. Therefore, we are launching a <\/span>marketing email campaign initiative<\/span> where participants will be assigned to marketing working groups for one month. The initiative will run from mid-April to mid-June. <\/span><\/p>\n

Who can participate?<\/span><\/h6>\n

Any ATA Law Division member who:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Has an established presence online (i.e., your business has a name, a logo, a professional website or an online profile). <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Is committed to set up an email marketing routine. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    What is a marketing working group?<\/span><\/h6>\n

    The marketing working groups will consist of up to 3 <\/span>members, and<\/span> will meet as often as they wish during one month. We have set up a marketing routine of 15 tasks with proposed milestones to help you structure your <\/span>work and<\/span> get your marketing routine established. <\/span><\/p>\n

    The start date is April 16 and the end date is May 16.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Some items could be done on your own, although you could set up virtual coworking sessions with your working group members to ensure you stay committed (e.g., 30 minutes).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Goals and Tasks:<\/span><\/h6>\n

    By the end of the month, you\u2019ll have:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • A completed email marketing plan tailored to your business.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A polished email marketing template ready to be sent.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identified your first 10-15 potential clients.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Sent your first marketing email.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Resources Provided by ATA Law Division:<\/span><\/h6>\n

      The ATA Law Division is supplying you with the following resources: <\/span><\/p>\n

      • A work plan that you follow with your group<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A PowerPoint presentation drafted by Katja <\/span>Gugelmeier<\/span> \u201cMarketing to Lawyers and Law Firms\u201d (cont<\/span>aining a<\/span>n email marketing plan template)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A Marketing Plan template<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A Marketing Task <\/span>Follow-up<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>spreadsheet <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        How to Sign Up:<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Please sign up by April 11. <\/span><\/p>\n

        The ATA Law Division will assign you to a working group by Monday, April 14. You will start working with your group on April 16.<\/span><\/p>\n

        To join a working group, please email <\/span>monique@longtontranslation.com<\/span> with:<\/span><\/p>\n

        • Your name<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Whether you are an interpreter or translator<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Your language pair(s)<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Your country and time zone<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Any preferences about the other members of your working group (e.g., same language pair only, same time zone only, interpreters only, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
