The event was hosted by Liz Herron-Sweet (Administrator), Monique Longton (Assistant Administrator), and members of the Leadership Council: Michael, Dmitry, and Katja.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Tools and Guidance<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started the session with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the format. Attendees received helpful materials to guide their productivity, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>presentation link and PDF <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">outlining the session format<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>task planner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Word document) for attendees to set and plan their tasks for the session<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A link to a <\/span><b>Pomodoro timer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to structure work intervals<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you attended but didn\u2019t receive these materials, feel free to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:atalawdivision@gmail.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">contact the Law Division<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014we\u2019ll be happy to send them your way.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Pomodoro in Action<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the Pomodoro technique, we worked in two 30-minute focused intervals, with a 5-minute break in between. The Law Division kept track of the time, so everyone could focus on their tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some participants worked on their own, completing tasks like proofreading, translation, or marketing. We also set up a breakout room for LawD Members that have joined the <\/span><b>Marketing Work Group<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, giving them space to focus on their assigned tasks. The atmosphere was friendly and productive, with many people sharing updates in the chat as they worked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some of the tasks that members shared they were working on during the session:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finalizing financial and legal translations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preparing paperwork for clients<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cleaning up email inbox and answering pending emails<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planning website updates and digital branding<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sending pending invoices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translating documents for NGOs and courts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Sharing and Connection<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the work session, we came back together to share updates on what everyone had been working on. This gave participants a chance to reflect on their progress and hear from others in the group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also opened the floor for questions about our profession and running a business. This led to helpful conversations on topics like branding, email marketing, building a digital presence, and participating in law-related events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants shared tools they use to stay organized and manage their work, such as Toggl for time tracking and Zoho CRM for managing contacts and outreach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also discussed different tools for creating websites, marketing materials, and email signatures. Marketing strategies were another key topic, including a recap of last year\u2019s webinar on email marketing, which several members found useful.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>The Takeaway<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re truly grateful for the positive feedback we received after our first coworking session:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c&#8230; thank you for organizing this &#8211; VERY useful and so nice to co-work instead of sitting \u2018alone\u2019 at the desk. I suggest you do it again, I&#8217;ll join! :)\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants also shared that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe after talk was very useful.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe session was very well planned, with the Pomodoro technique tips etc.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They appreciated <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201chow the information was presented and the commitment of all of the attendees. It was a great atmosphere!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many mentioned they <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cremained focused\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> throughout.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAt the end of the time, some of us stayed logged on and discussed various relevant issues,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which added even more value to the experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re thrilled to share that <\/span><b>88.9% of participants rated the session 5 stars<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank you to everyone who joined!
