The American Translators Association is accepting presentation proposals for ATA’s 62nd Annual Conference, October 27-30, 2021. The Conference Organizer is looking for relevant, original content that will provide attendees information they can use to build, grow, and manage a translation or interpreting business.<\/p>\n

Why submit a proposal?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ATA Annual Conference attracts 1,500 attendees, bringing together translators, interpreters, educators, project managers, and company owners. Making a presentation to such a diverse audience is an excellent way to build your reputation and r\u00e9sum\u00e9, widen your networking circle, and position yourself as an expert in your field! This is a great opportunity to spread your knowledge and gain recognition as an industry leader.<\/p>\n

5 Tips for Writing a Proposal<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Focus your session on providing relevant, practical education.<\/li>\n
  2. Define clear objectives for what attendees will learn.<\/li>\n
  3. Show how applying this knowledge will benefit them in their work.<\/li>\n
  4. Create a title that is short and conveys the usefulness of the presentation.<\/li>\n
  5. Keep your content targeted to\u00a0a specific level of experience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Proposals must be received by March 1, 2021<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n
