In\u00a0the case of a contested election, balloting is conducted by electronic ballot. This was a\u00a0contested election for PLD Administrator and Assistant Administrator.<\/p>\n<p>The results for PLD Administrator are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mirna Soares Andrade, 77 votes<\/li>\n<li>Thais Lips, 6 votes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The results for PLD Assistant Administrator are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c9rika Lessa, 76 votes<\/li>\n<li>Lourdes Norton, 5 votes<\/li>\n<li>Bianca Bold, 1 vote<\/li>\n<li>Cristina Silva, 1 vote<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The newly elected PLD officers are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrator: Mirna Soares Andrade<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Administrator: \u00c9rika Lessa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Their term will begin at the PLD Annual Meeting, scheduled to be held on Friday,\u00a0November 6, 12:30pm-1:00pm during ATA\u2019s 56th Annual Conference (November 4-7,\u00a02015) at the Hyatt Regency Miami in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The official results for the PLD Election have just been posted\u00a0by the ATA.
