And PLD member? <\/em><\/strong>Approximately four years.<\/p>\n What did the ATA membership ATA and\/or the PLD bring to you? <\/em><\/strong>My ATA membership (my PLD membership included) has introduced me to a network of amazing professionals and opportunities to grow and stay up to date in my career.<\/p>\n Current project (or last\/future interesting project\/activities):<\/em><\/strong> I am currently supervising the translation of songs from English into Brazilian Portuguese, Xhosa, and Zulu.<\/p>\n A major challenge(s) in your career: <\/em><\/strong>A major challenge for me in the beginning was trying to find my place\/specialization. Now, my biggest challenge is to grow my clientele, making sure that I leave time to find and work with other clients instead of always dedicating all my time to a single or just a couple of clients.<\/p>\n Do you have a hobby? <\/em><\/strong>I enjoy reading, sewing, and bike riding.<\/p>\n What is your favorite book in Portuguese Language literature<\/em><\/strong>? My favorite author is Machado de Assis, with Dom Casmurro and Mem\u00f3rias P\u00f3stumas de Br\u00e1s Cubas being my favorite books.<\/p>\n Currently on your reading list: <\/em><\/strong>Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.<\/p>\n Thank you.
