Something you\u2019re proud of: <\/em><\/strong>I take pride in being able to survive the big-company competition as a woman-owned small business for the last 23 years.<\/p>\n

A bit of your background:<\/em><\/strong> I\u2019m Originally from Portugal. I hold a bachelor\u2019s in Physical Therapy from Germany, a University Diploma in Portuguese as a Foreign Language in Portuguese English secondary language from Universidade Nova in Lisbon, a bachelor\u2019s in paralegal studies from the USA, and a master\u2019s in Criminal Justice in the USA.<\/p>\n

How long have you been with ATA and PLD? <\/em><\/strong>I\u2019ve lost count, probably about 15 years.<\/p>\n

What did ATA membership and\/or the PLD bring to you?<\/em><\/strong> I\u2019ve enjoyed some exposure and met good friends, colleagues, and connections (right, Gio?).<\/p>\n

Current project (or last\/future interesting project\/activities): <\/em><\/strong>www.vote.gov<\/a><\/p>\n

A major challenge(s) in your career: <\/em><\/strong>Keeping up with the market out there in the world has proven to be quite the task.<\/p>\n

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?<\/em><\/strong> Reading a good book and riding my motorcycle.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite book in Portuguese-language literature? <\/em><\/strong>Os Lus\u00edadas<\/em> by Lu\u00edz Vaz de Cam\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

What books are currently on your reading list?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Anything inspirational or educational I can get my hands on.<\/p>\n
