The PLD is starting a Book Club dedicated to exploring the richness of literature from all Portuguese-speaking countries!<\/p>\n

For our first gathering, we will discuss Terra Son\u00e2mbula<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by Mia Couto<\/b>,\u00a0a magical realist novel set in post-civil war Mozambique that blends imagery and metaphors to contrast the beauty of the landscape with the horrors faced by survivors.<\/p>\n

We would like to hold our first meeting in October \u2013 prior to the ATA Conference.<\/p>\n
