We\u2019re about 15 days away from the 57th American Translators Association Annual Conference in San Francisco and it\u2019s time to go through the\u00a0checklist to make sure we\u2019re ready for the biggest international\u00a0translation and interpretation event of the year!<\/p>\n

(X) Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have missed the early bird special and the standard registration period, but do not despair! There\u2019s still time to sign up for the late registration.\u00a0Click here<\/a>\u00a0and make sure you\u2019ll be part of\u00a0#ATA57<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

(X) ATA app<\/strong><\/p>\n

Have you downloaded the ATA app yet? If you\u2019ve already registered, keep an eye out for the email that the ATA sends out with your username\u00a0and password. The app will help you organize your schedule during the conference, so you can mark the sessions you want to attend, check out what\u2019s going on at\u00a0the exhibit hall, and look up information on other attendees and network with potential clients and colleagues. Our division will have a get-together at the ThirstyBear Brewing Co. on Thursday, November 3rd at 7 p.m. We\u2019ll be enjoying a tapas buffet and a\u00a0beer tasting session with an expert, but there\u2019ll also be a cash bar available for you to order your favorite drinks.\u00a0Click here\u00a0to guarantee your spot.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll have two sessions\u00a0with Daniel Hahn, award-winning book translator from Portuguese, Spanish, and French to English.
