She has\u00a0a bachelor\u2019s degree in Translation Studies and a full diploma in Conference Interpreting, in addition to being certified by both the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atanet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American Translators Association<\/a>\u00a0(ATA) and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abrates.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brazilian Association of Translators and Interpreters<\/a>\u00a0(ABRATES), where she now acts as a Director. She has worked in different sectors of the industry, including humanities, marketing, software and game localization. As an interpreter, she is proud to have worked at international events such as Rio +20 and Bill Clinton\u2019s visit to her hometown, Bel\u00e9m. She now lives in Toronto, where she completed a Master\u2019s program in Conference Interpreting at York University.
