Wondering how you can help?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>1. Blog:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>W<\/strong><strong>rite an article<\/strong>\u00a0for our\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ata-divisions.org\/PLD\/category\/blog-posts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0about a session you liked during an ATA Conference, about Portuguese-related topics or even on broader translation\/interpreting topics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong><strong>uggest a blog<\/strong>\u00a0for our\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ata-divisions.org\/PLD\/blog-trekker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blog Trekker<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 there are two simple criteria: it must belong to a PLD member and also focus on any aspect of translation or interpreting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2. Website:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>H<\/strong><strong>elp us with our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ata-divisions.org\/PLD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 we can always use a hand with little tasks here and there. Just ask!<\/li>\n<li><strong>W<\/strong><strong>hile browsing our website<\/strong>, please report errors, typos, broken links or anything that doesn\u2019t look right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>W<\/strong><strong>rite a\u00a0testimonial for our website<\/strong>, saying why it is important to be a PLD member and how you have benefited from your membership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3. Social media:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong><strong>hare<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>links<\/strong>\u00a0and interesting subjects on our\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ata-divisions.org\/PLD\/discussion-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mailing list<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ata.PLD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook page<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>H<\/strong><strong>elp spread the word!\u00a0<\/strong>A simple \u201cshare\u201d or \u201clike\u201d can take our Facebook page farther than you can imagine. The same goes for \u201cretweets\u201d on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitter.com\/pld_ata\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Conferences and events:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>H<\/strong><strong>elp us register our events\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 take as many photos as you can of PLD events and sessions, and be sure to share them with us by email.<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong><strong>hare ideas<\/strong>\u00a0to attract as many PLD members as possible for upcoming ATA Conferences. Any idea is welcome; don\u2019t be shy!<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong><strong>uggest speakers<\/strong>\u00a0for the Portuguese Language Division sessions at\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atanet.org\/events\/future_sites.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">future ATA Conferences<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong><strong>uggest a venue<\/strong>\u00a0for an off-site event during ATA Conferences: tours, PLD networking events, happy hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>5.
