He will talk about how working in the “Metaverse” can enhance your language services career and future options. In this exciting mixed-reality session, Jeff Weiser will be in two places at once: both “in real life” in the room with you, and in virtual reality (VR) with his colleagues in Argentina and Ireland. They will demonstrate three VR-enhanced workflows: 1) a company daily stand-up in VR, 2) a project manager setting up a project after the stand-up, and 3) a translator working on the project. No prior VR experience is required! Come with an open mind on what the future holds and what is already here.
