Welcome to the Nordic Division of the American Translators Association (ATA).
If you are a translator or interpreter working into or out of the Nordic languages, studying to enter the profession, or engaged in a related activity, take advantage of the many benefits of membership in the ATA Nordic Division.
Our membership is open to all ATA members in good standing who wish to help the Division:
- Improve communication among its members;
- Facilitate the provision of information and services to Division members in specific fields of interest related to translation and/or interpretation into or from the languages and dialects spoken in the Nordic countries;
- Disseminate information to the public about translating and interpreting; and
- Organize meetings, to further cooperation and information exchange among members, to formulate and advance the highest standards to assist members in their profession, and to promote the policies and objectives of the ATA.
