From the conference host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, Nicholas Restaurant is a 1.7-mile ride down along the SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. If you are staying at the conference hotel, you can take a bus (No. 6) from the NE M L King and Holladay to Hawthorne Bridge Ramp (5 stops), then walk a few blocks to the restaurant. This year ATA conference organizers will be providing all attendees with FREE passes for public transportation. An Uber ride will cost anywhere between $9 and $15.
For those interested in sharing and splitting Ubers, we’ll gather in the hotel lobby at 6:15 p.m. and leave by 6:45 p.m.
A group will also meet to take Portland public transit, leaving at 6:30 p.m.
