The ATA Chinese Language Division (CLD) is the home of American Translators Association members who work with the Chinese language. Through our online professional development and social events, CLD members have access to a network of professionals who share their interests and issues. By providing a slew of online platforms for member-contributed articles, interviews, discussions, and resources, we aim to keep each other on top of good business practices, emerging trends, and industry news in North America and beyond.
ATA membership:
Are you not an ATA member, or did your membership lapse? Check out this page to learn about the perks of being an ATA member! Plus, you’ll have access to all the member-only benefits offered by CLD!
How to follow CLD:
If you are interested in what we do but are not an ATA member (yet!), feel free to subscribe to our blog, WeChat Official Account, podcast, and listserv or follow us on Facebook. You are also welcome to join our CLD Friends WeChat group. We would love to meet you at our CLD Happy Hours, too! Be sure to check our Eventbrite page or the “Events” tab on the website for information on our next public event (virtual and in-person).
If you are an ATA member, make sure you have selected CLD to be one of your divisions in your ATA account and added divisions@atanet.org to your email contact. You will get all the inside scoop through the ATA Broadcast! In addition to the open platforms above, you can stay connected with us by joining our member-only WeChat group and LinkedIn group. We also host regular CLD Cafe events where members get together for webinars or social gatherings.
