ILD's Leadership CouncilThe ILD currently counts 350+ members and is organized through the volunteer efforts of its officers and leadership council. The ILD holds quarterly virtual events via Zoom and gathers annually at the ATA conference.
ILD Leadership Council

ATA Certification
The ATA offers a certification credential for translators working from Italian>English and English>Italian. The certification test is offered remotely and at in-person sittings, from April through the ATA Conference in October. For more info, consult the ATA certification program page. Certified ATA members use the “CT” designator after their name, and are searchable in the ATA language services directory.
Procedures
ILD was organized in 1999 in accordance with the ATA Bylaws and operates per ATA’s Governing Policy for Divisions.
Membership in the Italian Language Division is open to all members of the American Translators Association. You can become a member of the ILD by selecting the division in your member profile or on the membership forms when first applying for ATA membership.
