ATA67: Law Division Happy Hour at ATA67

October 24, 2026 By Katja Gugelmeier Leave a Comment

After a full day of conference sessions, legal terminology discussions, and our usual debates over the “right” translation of a tricky legal concept, it’s time to step away from the sessions and connect with colleagues.

Join the Law Division for a casual happy hour during ATA67! 🎉

No case briefs, legal dictionaries, or terminology spreadsheets required. Whether you’re a past, current, or future Law Division member—or simply interested in meeting other legal translators and interpreters—everyone is welcome!

This year, we’re keeping things easy and convenient. We’ll meet at Eclipse Kitchen & Bar, right inside the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Come grab a drink, get a bite to eat, and unwind with Law Division colleagues. Look for the ATA67 Law Division sign!

📅 When

Thursday, October 29, 2026
5:30–7:30 p.m.

Conference schedules can get busy, so come whenever you can and stay as long as you’d like. We’ll be there chatting, catching up, and meeting new colleagues.

📍 Where

Eclipse Kitchen & Bar
Hyatt Regency San Francisco
5 Embarcadero Center
San Francisco, CA 94111

🍽️ What to Expect

This is a casual, come-as-you-are get-together.

  • No registration
  • No RSVP
  • No pre-payment
  • Just show up and join us!
  • Everyone pays for their own food and drinks. Happy Hour menu options are available until 6:00pm, so arrive early! Regular menu options are available throughout the evening.

Expect good conversation, new connections, and, of course, some legal terminology talk. Because let’s be honest—we never completely stop talking about law!

Whether you’re a longtime Law Division member, attending your first ATA conference, or simply looking for a chance to relax and meet other colleagues, we’d love to see you there!
