As we close out 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on what a truly meaningful year this has been for the ATA Law Division — one filled with connection, collaboration, and steady growth.
We recently shared that 2026 brings new roles within the Law Division. Katja Gugelmeier is stepping into the role of Law Division Administrator, with Dmitry Beschetny serving as Assistant Administrator. We’re excited to continue the division’s work together and to build on the strong foundation created by our former officials Liz Herron-Sweet and Monique Longton.
This year would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our Leadership Council members: Liz Herron-Sweet, Monique Longton, Grace Isaía y Ruiz, Michael Crooks, and Carola Berger. Their time, expertise, and willingness to collaborate allow us to offer high-quality webinars, events, and initiatives for our members, and we are truly grateful for their continued support.
We would also like to sincerely thank our Law Division webinar speakers throughout the year, Rebecca Jowers and Jason Knapp, for generously sharing their time, experience, and practical insights with our members. Their contributions helped make our webinars engaging, relevant, and valuable for our community.
We are also grateful to our ATA 66 conference speakers who presented on legal topics: Toni Jaeger-Fine, Yasmin Alkashef, Grace Isaía y Ruiz, Silvia Prendin, Carola Lehmacher, Grace Shalhoub, Karen Borgenheimer, Thomas West, Diana Rivas, Rebecca Jowers, Amine El Fajri, Nancy Verastegui, and Eliane Sfeir-Markus.
A special mention goes to Toni Jaeger-Fine, our distinguished speaker, for sharing her expertise and insights with the Law Division. Thank you to all of our speakers for helping elevate the professional conversations within our community.
Finally, and most importantly, thank you to all Law Division members for your continued engagement, support, and trust. Your participation is what makes this division such a strong and valuable space, and we are truly grateful to be part of this community.
