ATA C-to-E Certification Exam Demystified


  • Date: Wednesday, January 17th, 2024
  • Time: 3:00-4:30 PM US Eastern Time / 12:00-1:30 PM US Pacific Time
  • Venue: Zoom (event link will be shared via Email to registered attendees)
  • Register by Monday, January 15th, 2024.

Description:

Join us for an insightful virtual workshop with a grader of ATA’s Chinese-to-English certification exam, who will review common mistakes that candidates make and discuss how ATA’s Into-English Grading Standards and other resources can effectively help exam candidates prepare for and excel on the exam.

This event is open to all CLD members as well as students and recent graduates of T&I programs who wish to learn more about the ATA certification exam program. Non-ATA members must register with an email address from an educational institution.

Those who attend the Zoom session live on January 17th will be eligible for 1 ATA-approved CE point.


Presenter: 

Aaron Hebenstreit, CT has been translating and interpreting Chinese technical and political material for international organizations, think tanks, law firms, and other clients for about 10 years. He serves as a grader for the ATA Certification Program and is ATA-certified in Chinese-to-English translation and credentialed for legal interpreting. Aaron has presented at ATA conferences and teaches part-time for New York University and the University of Texas.
