Professor Wilhelm “Bill” Weber from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey will be ATA57‘s closing keynote speaker!

His (very impressive) experience includes a Master’s in conference interpreting from the University of Geneva. Active conference interpreter since 1963, Mr. Weber was the Dean of Monterey’s Translation & Interpretation Graduate School from 1978-1992 and has been the Chief Interpreter for 13 Olympic Games since 1984. He has also worked as Chief Interpreter for events such as the G-7 and G-8 summits and FIFA’s World Cup. He will serve as Chief Interpreter for the Rio Olympic games right before heading to ATA 57th Annual Conference.
