It aims to address the unique aspects of game localization compared to other types of localization. The presenter will break down a typical “language pack” to show the various types of text within a game. There will be an in-depth discussion of localization bug testing and the challenges translators encounter when collaborating with game developers. Additionally, the importance of transcreation will be discussed, along with a look at a few well-known game localization memes.
