The CLD Translation Slam is back!
Now an annual CLD tradition, we celebrate the art of translation with this year’s translation slam by showcasing three brilliant translators and CLD members going head-to-head as they each translate the same text from Chinese into English and compare notes on their processes and techniques. Hear them comment on each other’s work, and discover how each translator brings their unique skill set to the table.
If you wish to give a stab at translating the source text yourself before hearing our panelists share their insights, please find the source text here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19xp8yYzGbIPUca47xLxoeKn9dwgO8TkO/view?usp=sharing
