ID/SPD JOINT MID-YEAR CONFERENCE: CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Interpreters Division and the Spanish Language Division are accepting proposals for their Mid-Year Conference to be held March 16-18, 2012 at the Hilton Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

The Interpreters and Spanish Language Divisions will host this joint conference
featuring educational sessions, networking opportunities, and business
connections. The conference will offer educational tracks on practical
skills, theory and technology, interpretation, translation, and linguistics. Anyone
interested in the profession will benefit from this professional development event.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
_________________________________________________________

Deadline for submission of proposals: December 3, 2011. Proposals must
include the following:

* Name of the presenter, contact information (email, telephone, and mailing
address).

* Bio of the presenter. Not to exceed 100 words.

* Title and language of the proposed presentation.

* Abstract of the presentation. Not to exceed 250 words.

* Proposals are to be submitted electronically in Word format.
