Various organizations award grants and prizes for literary translations. Some are for work in progress, and some for books already published; translators can apply for some themselves, while publishers apply for others. Check the websites carefully to see which are available to you.
PEN/Heim (PEN America) offers about a dozen translation grants for work in progress every year.
PEN Presents (English PEN) funds translation samples; translators living anywhere are eligible to apply.
