Accent Improvement for Asian-Language Speaker

May 20, 2021 By Shaoli Gu Leave a Comment

May 26 / 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm EDT

For more information or to register, please visit the ATA Webinar page.

Accents can be great conversation starters, but sometimes they create conversation hurdles.

For many Chinese speakers, speaking American English comes with challenges.

This webinar, presented by Kara Lund, will address common problem areas and provide tools for independent practice. The goal is not to eliminate your accent, but to improve your pronunciation of English phrases and make your accent work for you.

CLD and JLD (Japanese Language Division) will co-host a Coaching and Social Hour (C&S Hour) immediately following the webinar. Those who registered for the webinar will receive a link to join the C&S Hour shortly before the webinar begins.
