CLD Cafe Returns
The CLD member-only gathering returns with a twist! In the spring, we had a blast discussing topics interesting to Chinese translators and interpreters—MT, legal interpretation, headphones, setting up an LLC, and so much more! For our August-through-December season, some of the events will have a designated topic (or even a speaker!); others may simply be a virtual coffee house where friends can hang out. Please be on the lookout for our updates in the WeChat groups and other places where you follow us!
The September 8 event will be “freestyle.”
On September 25, Dr. Ming Qian, a fellow CLD member, will give a talk titled “Wave-III AI, In-context Learning Language Models, and New-generation Human-Machine Teaming Tool for Automated Translation.”
