Consortium Court Interpreter Spanish/English Oral Test Prep

October 20, 2014 By Carol Velandia

Consortium Court Interpreter

Spanish/English Oral Test Prep

Miami, Florida

This intensive hands-on workshop dedicated to improving your scores on the oral portion of the Consortium Court Interpreter Certification Examination. Please join us to maximize your opportunity for success and to network with peers!

Learn exactly what to expect during your test and how to best prepare for the portions that are most challenging to you. You will work on all three interpreting modes tested: simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation using language-lab styles exercises based on authentic court interactions and documents designed to reflect the difficulty of the actual test.

You will have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback about your performance from your instructor and your peers. Also covered are self-rating techniques, so that you can learn how to evaluate your interpreting performance while practicing on your own.

This Test Prep Workshop, taught by expert NCI staff trainer Anthony Rivas, includes:

ü  Unique exercises in all three interpreting modes

ü  Intensive, practical instruction

ü  Explanation of correct answers
