I have a confession to make.
When I got sick last year and couldn’t attend ATA63, I was not a happy camper. The annual ATA conference is a high point in the year, an important chance to connect with peers who are also friends, make business connections, and meet new friends.
And when the division websites went down earlier this year, I was again an unhappy camper. I look forward to editing articles for the blog, to working with the team to curate information for the website. The website and what it offers are another way for us to stay connected and informed.
So it’s a true pleasure to announce that the Interpreters Division website migration has been completed and we’re back online! It will take us a little while to get things set back up, but we’re grateful to the ATA staff who made this migration possible. Meanwhile, please bookmark the website so you can find it easily in the future.
Our annual meeting will be on September 23rd at 11 a.m. and it will again be virtual; this will allow for the participation of those members who cannot travel. You can find the login information here after signing in to the ATA website.
And finally, ATA64 is just around the corner, and the Interpreters Division has planned a Happy Hour for members who are present. The full invitation is provided below. This happy camper and your ID Council and administrators hope to connect with you in person there!
