About the Speaker:
João Vicente de Paulo Júnior is a Brazilian Portuguese financial translator with 18 years of experience. He has a BA in translation from the University of Brazil, where he was a translation and English instructor for two years. He also worked as a staff translator for eight years at the International Monetary Fund headquarters in Washington, DC. He has been a freelance translator for the past six years. He has given presentations at translation conferences and colleges all over Brazil on topics such as financial translation, machine translation, and the business aspects of the profession.
