Have you started planning for ATA65 in beautiful Portland, Oregon?
The year is flying by; ATA65 is only a few months away. Registration for the conference will open at the end of July, but it’s wise to book your travel and accommodations now.
Reflecting on the success of ATA60 in Palm Springs, this year’s annual conference will be held at the Oregon Convention Center (OCC), one of the largest meeting venues in the Pacific Northwest. Conveniently located in the heart of Portland, the OCC is surrounded by numerous hotels and is easily accessible via an efficient transportation network. ATA has partnered with two adjacent hotels offering special conference rates available until October 4, or while space lasts. For more details, visit the conference hotels page. You might also consider checking the ATA Conference blog for roommate options.
Portland offers a variety of accommodation options. Whether you choose a hotel or a vacation rental, you can rest assured that getting around will be easy thanks to the Portland Streetcar and TriMet buses, both of which have stops right outside the convention center. Explore the many options available on the city’s official travel guide, but be sure to book early. Fall is a prime time to visit the Pacific Northwest, and accommodations tend to fill up quickly.
ATA65 coincides with Halloween, and the entire region is buzzing with festivals and attractions. One such event is the Spirit of Halloween in St. Helens, located just 30 miles from Portland, which draws many visitors every year.
For those flying in, you can find domestic flight information here. Portland International Airport is only a 15-minute taxi or car ride from downtown Portland or a direct 37-minute tram ride for those traveling light.
As usual, the PLD has set up a dedicated WhatsApp group for conference attendees to answer questions, share recommendations, and exchange tips. If you’re planning on attending ATA65 and would like to join this group, please send a message to contato@elenice.com.br.
