Welcome to the French Language Division of the American Translators Association (ATA). Our membership is open to all ATA members in good standing who support the following aims of the Division:

  • To provide information and service to its members in specific fields of interest related to translation and/or interpretation into or from French
  • To organize meetings, to further cooperation and information exchanges among members, to formulate and advance standards to assist members in their profession, and to promote the policies and objectives of the Association

Translate in Chantilly: Aug. 3–5, 2015

August 3-5
Translate in Chantilly, a 2.5-day workshop-based conference focusing on writing skills for translators targeting the top end of the market. The event will offer plenaries plus two tracks, French > English and English > French, with outstanding instructors and sessions.

This will be the first appearance of the “Translate in…” event in Europe and is organized by the SFT. ATA members who sign up before May 30 benefit from the special earlybird price for associations. VAT is also waived if you are based outside the EU. Learn more, and register here.
