AVD Meetups

Virtual Happy Hour Events!

Did you know we hold bi-monthly Happy Hours via Zoom on the last Saturday of uneven months?

Come join us in our ATA Audiovisual Division Happy Hours, to share our passion for translation, audiovisual or not! It is always so nice to chat with colleagues and make new friends.
The meetings are held in a private Zoom session, and we split up into small groups so that everyone can get in on the conversation.

Everybody is invited, whether they have oodles of experience in audiovisual translation, are just starting out, are a bit AVT-curious, or have no interest whatsoever but still need to fit one more Zoom meeting into their agenda. Our Happy Hour events are free and open to all.

Don’t miss the next one on January, Saturday 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time! Registration will open soon, and you will get an email with the Zoom details to join. See you there!

The course includes modules on simultaneous interpreting (English-Spanish), intralingual respeaking (Spanish-Spanish) and interlingual respeaking (English-Spanish).
